For my birthday this year, I wanted to have a bonfire in a stone hut at sunrise on the shores of Lake Superior. Normal enough, right? Strangely enough, the kids were not just agreeable, but actually seemed excited about it. Or at least pretended to be:) Joey brought warm drinks and breakfast snacks. It was very cold, but the sunrise was spectacular and we had a great time. They redid Brighton Beach last year, but the stone hut has been there for decades. Amazing spot to make a fire and eat some snacks!
